The Vienna Capitals defeated the Fehérvári Titánok on the road by the score of 4-3.

Fehérvár had more scoring chances in the first period but they were not able to beat the Capitals goalie. In the second period the scoring opened up as Schlögl gave a back door pass to Bernhard Posch for the opening goal of the game. In the 25th minute Szilárd Hamvai put a rebound home off of a Tamás Láday shot to tie the game up at 1-1. Minutes later Vienna answered back with a goal from Maxa. Late in the period there was flurry of goals as Brock Beukeboom tied the game up at 2-2 but Viena scored twice before the period was out with a second by Maxa and Kittinger also beat Gyenes. In the third period Fehérvár was going after their third goal, this game when Hunor Császár beat a couple of defencemen and flipped the puck past Zimmerman for the goal. In the end Fehérvár pulled their goalie for the extra attacker but they were not able to tie the game.
