Don MacAdam, head coach, Csíkszereda: We played a great first period which was very important for us. It was an exciting game that was played at a high pace and the guys battled hard. I would like to highlight the last minutes of the game when we played great when it was 6 on 5. We have the skills and if they guys can battle every day it will be a fun team to watch.
Zoltán Szilassy, head coach, UTE: Unfortunately we had our first goal scored against us after a bad mistake. We should have been the one that scored the goal on the man advantage. We got into a tight spot but I think we worked hard after that but it was not a nice style of hockey. We did everything we could to get back into the game. We did not score our first goal until we were already down 3-0. We had eight shots on net when we pulled our goalie. But we were not able to score a goal, sometimes you have games like this, but we did play one of the top teams in the league.
